The stomp heard round the NBA, Green and Sabonis mix it up in Kings win

Will Green hear from the league after dirty play on Sabonis?

Adam Silver sat in his customary seat at Golden 1 Center on Monday night. Since its opening in September of 2016, the Commissioner of the NBA has dropped by more than once. He likes to sit amongst the crowd, usually midcourt seven or eight rows up from the floor.

From his seat, Silver had the perfect view of the action in what has become a heated Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors first round playoff series. He watched the frenetic pace of the game as two incredible offenses dueled in front of a fully engaged packed house.

And then he saw in real time an incident that will likely be viewed in the tens, if not hundreds of millions of times.

A fall. A grab. A stomp.
