Thanks for visiting The Kings Beat, an independent credentialed news source covering the Sacramento Kings. We have plenty of new exciting upgrades to the site, including a comments section that has been added to the bottom of the posts. Feel free to chime in and thanks for supporting The Kings Beat!

The Las Vegas Summer League adventure is almost over. After a second straight defeat on Tuesday night, the Kings are down to just one more game in Vegas before the team is disbanded and go their separate ways.

Coach Luke Loucks has done a nice job of getting his team to play hard and compete, but without Keegan Murray to knock down shots, the Kings have struggled. It’s okay. Summer league championships have nothing to do with regular season success. Summer league is a vehicle to find and cultivate talent.

With the Las Vegas experience winding down, we have some news and notes to go through, including an update on All-NBA center Domantas Sabonis and his recovery from an avulsion fracture.
