You can’t win every game, although Kings fans may have lost sight of this notion over the last month with the team coming off a seven game win streak. That came to a conclusion Wednesday in Atlanta as the Kings ran out of gas against a talented Hawks team.

Even in defeat, Mike Brown had his team in the game until the final minutes and it was clear that the back-to-back took a toll on the team. Sacramento has a chance to get back in the win column on Friday when they visit the Boston Celtics at the Garden. 

The Celtics are one of the best teams in the NBA early in the 2022-23 campaign, but this Kings squad seems ready for any challenge. After a day off for Thanksgiving, it feels like this is a good time to point out a few things for fans to be thankful for this season.

There is plenty of room for growth with this team and they are improving from one game to the next. Here are five major positives to give thanks for in Sacramento from the first 17 games of the Kings season.
