After a tough loss to the Atlanta Hawks to close out last week, the Kings squandered a golden opportunity against the Los Angeles Lakers.  It was an offensive battle all the way down the wire, but Sacramento came up just short, falling by a final of 136-134.

De'Aaron Fox scored 34 points and handed out nine assists to lead the Kings, and Domantas Sabonis posted 25 points and 12 rebounds. A questionable foul call with three seconds remaining gave the Lakers a pair of free throws and a half court heave at the buzzer was offline.

With a chance to win the season series, the Kings allowed Thomas Bryant to go for 29 points and 12 rebounds, including some huge boards in crunch time. LeBron James got loose for 36 points and Dennis Schroder added 27 in the Lakers win.
