The Kings’ preseason schedule came to an end this week, with Sacramento falling short against the Golden State Warriors twice before finally getting their first win on Thursday against the Utah Jazz.

It’s only preseason and the team found themselves in valuable late game situations in all three, including an overtime loss, a buzzer beating loss, and a three point win over the Jazz.

If there are any takeaways from the Warriors games, it is that Stephen Curry is still brilliant at age 35. The win over the Jazz was gritty and allowed Malik Monk to break out of his slump, and further build the legend of rookie Colby Jones.

We’ll skip the recaps on these three games because it’s difficult to get a true read on anything during preseason, but there were plenty of other issues to focus on this week.
