Kings dominate Jazz, lose another to Warriors in opening week

The Kings’ opened the 2023-24 campaign with a convincing 130-114 win over the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center. Harrison Barnes dominated the action, scoring 27 of his game-high 33 in the first half, but he wasn’t the only Kings player to have an impactful game.

Domantas Sabonis posted his first double-double of the season, finishing with 22 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. De’Aaron Fox struggled with his shot, but still managed to drop in 18 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Rookie Sasha Vezenkov came off the bench to score eight points on 3-of-6 shooting and Keegan Murray chipped in 15 points and eight rebounds.

Jordan Clarkson scored 24 points to lead the Jazz. Lauri Markkanen added 19 points and 10 rebounds and John Collins chipped in 15 points and 11 rebounds in his first official game in a Jazz uniform.
