Week in review: Kings rally after three game losing streak

Kings get much needed wins with road trip looming

Kings record: 12-9

Kings record on the week: 2-1

The Kings have kept their focus on the game at hand and not looked back or too far forward. This mentality has helped the squad avoid those brutal long losing streaks that take teams out of playoff contention early in the season.

After two tough losses on the road in Atlanta and Boston, the Kings returned to Golden 1 Center on Monday to face the No. 1 team in the Western Conference in the Phoenix Suns. Despite Devin Booker's 44 point outburst, the Kings were still in the game late and even got the stop they needed. Unfortunately, Torrey Craig found a way to rip down an offensive rebound and the Suns were able to escape Sacramento with a 122-117 win.

Malik Monk posted a season-high 30 points and added eight assists. Kevin Huerter chipped in 18 points without hitting a 3-point shot and Domantas Sabonis picked up his eleventh double-double of the season.
