You can’t overlook anyone in the NBA. The Kings made that mistake to open this week of games.

Looking for a third straight win to kick off a four game homestand, the Kings hosted the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night. The Hornets came into the game 7-24 on the season and missing Gordon Hayward, LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller and Mark Williams, but they hung close to the Kings all game long.

Terry Rozier dominated the action late, scoring 14 of his 34 points in the fourth quarter. Mile Bridges added 27 points and PJ Washington came off the bench to drop in 17 as Charlotte snuck away with a 111-104 victory.

De’Aaron Fox led the way for Sacramento, posting 30 points, five rebounds and six assists, but committed two crucial turnovers down the stretch. Domantas Sabonis went off for 23 points and 19 rebounds, but he turned the ball over a career-high 11 times in the loss.
