The Sacramento Kings’ week started in the same way that the last one ended, with a bad loss against the Houston Rockets.

Jalen Green torched the Kings for 23 points in 26 minutes and Alperen Sengun once again got the better of Domantas Sabonis as the upstart Rockets picked up a commanding 122-97 win over the Kings.

Sacramento’s offense looked like it was stuck in the mud. Kevin Huerter and Keegan Murray showed some signs of life with the starting unit. The trio of Keon Ellis, Kessler Edwards and Alex Len brought energy off the bench, foreshadowing a theme of the next two games.
