Week in review: Kings make it seven straight on the road, move to 43-27

Kings move to 11-2 following All-Star break

Kings record: 43-27

Kings record on the week: 3-1

The week started with a reminder how difficult the road ahead is once you get to the playoffs. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks rolled into Sacramento on Tuesday and handed the Kings a 133-124 loss.

Antetokounmpo is a difficult match up for every team in the league, but he ran over the Kings for 46 points and 12 rebounds. Chris Middleton chipped in 31 points and nine rebounds, and Brook Lopez added 23 points on 4-of-6 shooting from long range.

The Bucks didn't blow out the Kings, but they did get physical with the home squad. Domantas Sabonis went to work against Lopez, hitting the big man for a 23-point, 17-rebound, 15-assist triple-double. De'Aaron Fox went off for 35 points to keep the Kings close and Kevin Huerter knocked down 8-of-11 from three for 28 points.

Milwaukee snapped the Kings' three game win streak and things got a little out of control in the waning moments when Lopez and Trey Lyles mixed it up near half court. Both were ejected and Lyles earned a one game suspension from the league for grabbing the 7-footer by the throat.
