Coming off a disappointing loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder to open a mini three game road trip leading into the All-Star break, the Kings traveled to Phoenix for their fourth, but not final matchup against the Suns of the 2023-24 season.

The Kings and Suns battled all the way down the stretch, but Phoenix’s big two of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker combined for 53 points and Eric Gordon chipped in 23 off the bench to push the home team to a 130-125 victory.

De’Aaron Fox was the driving force behind the Kings, finishing with 40 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three steals. Domantas Sabonis added a 35-point, 18-rebound, 12-assist triple-double and Malik Monk scored 22 of the Kings’ 25 points off the bench in the loss.
