Week in review: Kings come out of All-Star break with an edge
Kings start post All-Star break schedule with a pair of wins
Kings record: 34-25
Kings record on the week: 2-0
The All-Star break is in the rearview mirror and the Kings don't have even a minute to catch their breath. It's a sprint to the finish line and for the first time in years, the Kings control their own destiny.
After a couple of practice sessions to shake off the rust, the Kings jumped right back into the schedule Thursday night when they hosted the Portland Trail Blazers. A snow storm delayed the Blazers twice, putting the game in doubt leading all the way up until Thursday afternoon.
With a crazy night of travel, both Damian Lillard and Jerami Grant decided to sit out to rest. They joined a long list of Blazers out of action and the Kings took advantage.
