Week in review: Kings climb to within a game of .500

Kings improve to 5-6 with another solid week

Kings record: 5-6

Kings record on the week: 2-1

An 0-4 start to the season was concerning, but Mike Brown and his group stayed together and are now making strides. After another week of solid basketball, the Kings have climbed to within a game of .500 and are back in the hunt.

The week started with a highly competitive game in San Francisco against the Warriors. Despite a 47 point game from Stephen Curry, the Kings were in it all the way down to the wire.

In a continuing theme throughout the early season, the officials made a series of mistakes down the stretch, including a missed shot clock violation, a travel and a blatant foul by Klay Thompson on what could have been the game tying shot by Kevin Huerter.

The final score read 116-113 Warriors, but it felt more like 0-2 for the officials this season. Curry was incredible. De'Aaron Fox and Malik Monk both put up big numbers for Sacramento.
