The recovery.

Last week’s review was unpleasant. The Sacramento Kings were in the middle of a four game losing streak after a couple of bad beats and there was tension around the team.

Winning cures all and after a 3-0 week, the vibes are back. It started with a home matchup against a struggling Atlanta Hawks team at Golden 1 Center. Missing leading scorer Trae Young, the Hawks gave the Kings a run for about 12 minutes before folding up shop.

Harrison Barnes came out firing in this game, lighting Atlanta’s defense up for 32 points on 10-for-20 shooting. Domantas Sabonis controlled the glass, finishing with 14 points, 21 rebounds and six assists, and four additional Kings players scored in double figures.

DeJounte Murray paced the Hawks with a big 35-point, 10-rebound, six-assist game and former King, Bogdan Bogdanovic, added 18 points in a 122-107 losing effort for Atlanta.
