Weekly Record: 2-1

Season Record: 11-7

The week started with the Kings’ third matchup of the season against the Golden State Warriors with an In-Season Tournament bid at stake. Sacramento fell behind by 24 points on their home court in the first half and the Warriors let them know it.

Needing to win, or lose by less than 12 points, the Kings didn’t let go of the rope. In his first game back after a five game suspension, Draymond Green lost his cool again, which opened the door for the home team to rally.

De’Aaron Fox shook off a poor shooting night from the free throw line to finish with 29 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Kevin Huerter added a big 21-point, 9-rebound, 5-assist game and Malik Monk chipped in 21 off the bench, including the bucket that gave the Kings a late lead.

Sacramento rallied for a 124-123 win to advance to the In-Season Tournament Quarter Finals. They also moved the season-series against the Warriors to 1-2, snapping a five game losing streak against Golden State dating back to last season’s playoffs and the preseason schedule.
