Week in review: De'Aaron Fox returns, pushes Kings to 3-1 week

Kings improve to 3-5 with stunning overtime win over the Magic

Kings record: 3-5

Kings record on the week: 3-1

Coming around.

After a brutal 0-4 start to the season, fans were in panic mode, and rightfully so. What a difference a week makes. What a difference a couple of hours makes.

Sacramento got on the board last Saturday against the Miami Heat when they came away with a 119-113 victory. Don't let the final score fool you. The Kings led 71-49 and almost gave the game away.

Kevin Huerter was incredible for the Kings, finishing with 27 points on 7-of-8 shooting from three. This was just the start of a trend for the former Hawk. Rookie Keegan Murray added a career-high 22 points and De'Aaron Fox posted a new personal best on the glass with 13 rebounds.

With a home win under their belt, the Kings hit the road for the first of four straight away from Golden 1 Center. They faced a short-handed Charlotte team that has played tough against them over the last few years.

Huerter came up huge once again, dropping in 26 points to lead the Kings in scoring. Davion Mitchell filled in for De'Aaron Fox in the backcourt after Fox injured his left knee in the first half. The second-year guard posted a season-high 23 points off the bench and helped lead the Kings to a 115-108 win.
