Sunday Musings: Kings showing growth, even through struggles

Kings push never too high, never too low theory to the brink

Never too high, never too low.

This is a basic concept, but the Sacramento Kings always enjoy testing the boundaries of their fanbase.

At 0-4, the Kings bandwagon started to empty out. Two wins in a row had a few folks trying to climb back on board.

When Sacramento lost on a poorly officiated final shot in Miami, fans were once again reminded who they are. The refs have been a common enemy since 2002 and this could be a rallying point, not only for the team, but for a group of loyalists who want nothing more than to see their squad snap a 16-year playoff drought.

Highs. Lows. No middle ground.
