Weekly Record: 2-1

Season Record: 19-12

After a 4-2 homestand, the Kings took their show on the road this week for one of the strangest trips in recent memory. It started in Portland with a clunker against the Blazers, but included stops in Atlanta and Memphis. Rarely do you see a three game road trip in three different time zones over a six day period.

The Kings flew out of Sacramento on Christmas night and looked like they had a holiday hangover in the battle against the Blazers. Anfernee Simons led Portland with 29 points, but the story of this game was 27-year-old rookie Duop Reath, who lit the Kings up for 25 points and nine rebounds.

De’Aaron Fox paced the Kings with 43 points and eight rebounds. Domantas Sabonis added a season-high 34 points to go with 12 rebounds and five assists, but the rest of the roster was a no-show as Sacramento fell by a final of 130-113.
